FT4 Powder Rheometer®

FT4 Powder Rheometer - Powder Flow Tester

The FT4 Powder Rheometer, the flagship product from Freeman Technology, is a universal powder tester.

In addition to the unique dynamic methodology, where a powder's resistance to flow is measured whilst the powder is in motion, the FT4 also includes a shear cell for measuring the powder's shear strength, a wall friction kit to quantify how a powder shears with respect to the surfaces of process equipment (in accordance with ASTM Standard D7891), as well as accessories for measuring bulk properties, such as density, compressibility and permeability.

The range of measurement capabilities the FT4 provides makes it the world's most versatile powder testing instrument for measuring and understanding powder flow and powder behaviour.

Uniaxial Powder Tester

Uniaxial Powder Tester - Powder Flow Tester

The Uniaxial Powder Tester (UPT) provides an accurate and robust measure of the uniaxial Unconfined Yield Strength (uUYS) of a bulk solid - a parameter widely used to assess and rank powder flowability.

The UPT also quantifies key fundamental powder properties including Bulk Density and Compressibility.

It is a quick, reliable and easy to use device which delivers value to scientists, process engineers and QC analysts working in a diverse range of bulk solids handling industries.

The UPT offers a low cost, powder testing solution.

Lenterra Sensor Instrumentation

Lenterra Drag Force Flow

Freeman Technology is the exclusive global partner for Lenterra sensor instrumentation.

The system provides in-line, real-time flow measurement to enhance process understanding, and improve manufacturing efficiency and quality in a number of industries.

The Drag Force Flow (DFF) and the RealShearTM Wall Shear Stress (WSS) sensors, allow users to obtain important information without interrupting their manufacturing process using fibre optic technology. The data produced optimises cycle times, reduces costs, and improve compliance and productivity.
